The forecast is predicting more snow than we've had in some time. We’ll be sure to keep you posted with any school updates on any additional closures or delays.In case you missed the announcement, we are pleased to share the news that Kaitlyn Angulo will be the Assistant Principal of the K-3 lower school next year. I truly value the collaboration and perspective Kaitlyn brings to our team. We are excited about the year ahead and remain deeply committed to serving the AB community and all that makes it so special.

Literacy Week 2026
Dear Families,
Friday March 6th is our annual “Literacy Dress Up Day”! As part of our Literacy Week celebration, we invite students to dress up as a character from a book, or a “vocabulary word” with the classroom teacher's approval. However, we want to be sure that this is a literacy focused event, so please note that all costumes must be based on a literary character or a vocabulary word. As you help your child find/create a costume, please be sure that it connects to a specific book and story, or an interesting word or term. Additionally, we want to be sure that these costumes are appropriate for our K-6 elementary school. Please do not include any objectionable or violent imagery or weapons in costumes.
