11.15.25

Greetings Merriam Families,

Please enjoy a few recent photos that highlight some of Merriam’s strengths: our strong sense of community, meaningful family engagement, project-based learning, and cultivating joy.  We are especially grateful for the families – and even siblings – who join us in classrooms for project shares and presentations.  Your involvement helps to create meaningful learning experiences in which students can reflect on and celebrate their growth together. Project based learning is so much more than completing a task or producing a final product;  it’s a process of reflection, inquiry, collaboration, creativity, self-expression, and inviting students to share their learning in ways that are purposeful and authentic.

We put together a video of highlights from the Fun Run Walk and Ride!  Thank you again to our families for supporting Merriam's Fundraiser.   Click here to watch the video.

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  Read on for some reminders, updates and announcements.

Warmly,
Christina

Wow!  Thank you for your incredible generosity during our food drive. Your donations will make a meaningful difference for families in our community, and we are truly grateful for your kindness and support. Because of you, our collection was a tremendous success, and it’s a wonderful reminder of the support and care within the Merriam community. Thank you for helping us share the love!
